Light a Light 2007

The lights on the Tree of Remembrance in Charlotte Square Gardens were switched on on Monday 3rd December 2007 by Council Leader Jenny Dawe. The appeal raised just over £50,000 for the Hospice. Many thanks to all our supporters and our sponsors - Sir Tom Farmer, Walter Scott & Partners Ltd and the Forestry Commission - who contributed to make this such a successful appeal.

Many thanks to Graeme A Whyte for these lovely pictures of the Tree of Remembrance and the Switching-On Ceremony which was attended by over 1500 people.
